The winter show season, and how to stay for it
The calendar between December and March is the resort's busiest stretch for touring acts — and the stretch when the drive back to the city is least appealing.

December: the holiday run
December opens with The Righteous Brothers on Friday 4 December, Colin James on Saturday 5 December, and Elvis — A Christmas Special with Pete Paquette on Sunday 6 December. The Celtic Tenors follow on Saturday 12 December. A Friday-to-Sunday stay covers three shows; that is a strong weekend for a couple who like the older catalogue. The resort is also hosting a free, family-friendly Holiday Craft & Artisan Market in the rotunda on Sunday 22 November 2026.
January and February
Terry Fator plays on Friday 15 January and Trooper with The Northern Pikes on Saturday 16 January — a good pairing for a weekend. February is heavy on comedy: Puppers Presents LETTERKENNY LIVE on 5 February, Russell Peters on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 February, Darcy & Jer on 26 February and Tony Hinchcliffe on 27 February, with The Life of Tom Petty on Sunday 28 February. Two nights of Russell Peters will be the busiest weekend in the hotel; request rooms early.
March
Air Supply bring A Matter of Time Tour on Friday 5 March, Fausto Leali & Matia Bazar play on Sunday 7 March, and Theory Of A Deadman's Northern Chaos Tour arrives on Friday 12 March — that show is listed with 8 PM doors and a 9 PM start.
Winter logistics
Highway 11 north of Barrie in a January snowfall is a reason to stay, not just a convenience. Self-parking is free, so leave the car in the lot overnight. The 11 AM check-out comes quickly after a late show — book breakfast at The Weirs, swim at 7 if you are an early riser, and leave the spa for a Saturday morning when you are not rushing.
