Accessibility
Accessibility at the resort
The resort describes itself as a fully accessible facility. This is what its FAQ and hotel pages say in detail.
Accessible suites
The hotel lists accessible rooms with wide doorways, lower counters, support bars and strobe detectors. The FAQ says there is a limited number of accessible suites and asks guests to state their needs when booking. When you use our form, write what you need — roll-in shower, a bed height, a visual alarm, proximity to the lifts — and we will put it to the resort and report back what it can confirm.
Getting around the building
The resort says dining, gaming, the hotel, the spa, the Entertainment Centre and the washrooms are accessible. Wheelchairs are available free of charge, first come first served, at the casino main entrance, the bus entrance and the hotel bell desk. You leave a government ID while using one, and they cannot be reserved in advance.
At the shows
Accessible seating is limited for every show and is booked through the call centre on 1-800-832-7529, not by choosing seats online. Assistive hearing devices are available at the box office.
On the casino floor
The resort says gaming tables and slot machines can be adapted for guests with disabilities.
Service animals
Pets are not allowed, but certified service animals are welcome under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, with documentation from a regulated health professional.
Policy
Gateway publishes an AODA policy and a multi-year accessibility plan. If something on site does not work as described, the resort's guest services are the people to tell; we are happy to pass on feedback from guests who booked through us.

Ask our desk to hold a room for your show night
Tell us the night, the show if there is one, and how many of you are coming. We check what the resort can offer for those dates and write back with options. No card is needed to ask.
How we are paid: if a room request you send here becomes a confirmed stay, the resort or the booking partner that completes it pays us a commission. Asking costs you nothing and never raises the rate.
